Kinky Boots producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Jake Shears, lead singer of the glam pop group Scissor Sisters, will make his Broadway debut as 'Charlie Price', succeeding Stark Sands beginning Monday, January 8, 2018. He will play for a limited run through Sunday, April 1, 2018. That same day, January 8, returning to the cast as 'Lola' is J. Harrison Ghee, who succeeds Billy Porter.

The Kinky Boots stage door has naturally been attracting large numbers of Panic! fans throughout Urie's time in the show and Urie has been signing after all performances, but he will no longer stage door following an incident which occurred over the weekend.
