David Mamet is a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, who has earned Tony nominations for Glengarry Glen Ross (1984) and Speed-the-Plow (1988). As a screenwriter, he received Oscar nominations for The Verdict (1982) and Wag the Dog (1997). Mamet's books include The Old Religion (1997), a novel about the lynching of Leo Frank.

American Theater Company announces the addition of new performance dates for its hit productions of David Mamet's Oleanna and Speed-the-Plow, directed by Steppenwolf Ensemble Member Rick Snyder. Both productions have been extended through October 31, 2010 and are now playing in repertory at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron in Chicago.
