Marc Lucchesi, Sarah Nandagopan and Jayan Nandagopan (joint Writers and Composers) new work THE MARVELLOUS ELEPHANT MAN THE MUSICAL arrives in Sydney as part of its current tour of the Fringe Festival Circuit. An absurd mashup of the Victorian era medical mystery and the tradition of the Penny Dreadful horror stories, this work draws artistic influence from vaudeville, cabaret, burlesque and slapstick humor but don’t expect much connection to Joseph Merrick’s real story.

Sydney Fringe Festival, the city's largest independent arts festival, launches this week with a dynamic program of over 400 events and 12 festival hubs taking over the city until 30 September. The Festival kicks off with Fringe Ignite on Saturday 2 September, headlined by the iconic Rogue Traders alongside live performances by The Great West, False London, MUNGMUNG, PEPTALK and DJ Victoria Anthony.

Producers of the multi-million dollar stage musical GREASE have revealed a sneak preview of a recording of one of the beloved musical's favourite songs, You're The One That I Want featuring Annelise Hall in the role of Sandy and Joseph Spanti in the role of Danny. GREASE is set to open in Melbourne on December 31 2023 and at Sydney's Capitol Theatre from March 2024. Watch here!
