This week, we are highlighting the accomplishments of women in theatre throughout the 1960s and the 1970s!

Stages Theatre Company has announced they will re-open with the hit musical YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. The production will run July 9, 2021 thru August 8, 2021 with performances held outdoors at Hopkins' Downtown Park. The musical will be directed by Stages Theatre Company Artistic Director, Sandy Boren-Barrett.

On this day in 1999, the Broadway revival of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown opened at the Ambassador Theater on Broadway.

Walter C. Miller, award-winning television director and producer who served as an executive producer, producer and consulting producer for the CMA Awards for more than 40 years, passed away last night, Nov. 13, 2020. He was 94 years old.

The National Theatre has announced its upcoming lineup for December 2019 - June 2020.

Just in time for the holidays, The Winter Park Playhouse gives audiences a top-notch professional production of the Broadway revival version of the hit musical You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown November 15 - 24 and December 5 - 15. This heartwarming musical features an all-star cast and won the 1999 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2 p.m. and select Friday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Actors Co-op (Ovation Winner 2018 Best Direction of a Musical - Intimate Theatre) is proud to present Charles Ludlam's The Mystery of Irma Vep - A Penny Dreadful, directed by Carla Cackowski, produced by Carly Lopez. Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG) will present You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Revised), featuring BTG'S 2019 Acting Intern company on August 17, directed by Alan Filderman, with music direction by Andrew Baumer and choreography by Tim McGarrigal. Tickets are specially priced at $5.

The beloved Peanuts gang comes to life onstage in the Marx Theatre beginning April 20 in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, a whimsical and witty musical reimagined for the stage with the actors playing their own instruments. The production runs through May 18. Opening night is April 25.

Drury Lane Theatre for Young Audiences presents You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the beloved comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz, with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. This revised version features additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. This production is directed and choreographed by Scott Calcagno with music direction by Ellen Morris.
