Previously, Slow Burn Theatre Company thrilled audiences with its stirring production of Jekyll and Hyde. However, Slow Burn recently opened the more cheerful and family-friendly You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown in the Broward Center's intimate Abdo New River Room.

Next up for Cleveland's Theatre in the Circle is an innovative new production of the much-loved classic You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown!, the 1967 musical with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner based on the characters created by Charles M. Schulz in the comic strip Peanuts. This production features an over-50 cast of acclaimed Cleveland area theatre professionals. You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown! runs May 9 through 12th, 2019, with all shows taking place at Judson Manor, 1890 E. 107th Street.  The Mountain Play Association, the San Francisco Bay Area's most magical outdoor theater experience, will present the timeless classic Disney's Beauty and the Beast directed by Jay Manley for their 104th season. Based on the French fairy tale of the same name by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST tells the story of a monstrous prince and a young woman who fall in love. Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will take place every Sunday from May 21 to June 18, 2017.

The Rooftop Productions effort does well by the Gesner and Schulz creation. Director Ted Ballard keeps things simple, just as Schulz presented his characters in pen and ink. Coupled with identifiably perfect costumes by Mandy Ken, and cartoon inspired, primary-colored set pieces designed by Dale Walsh, Ballard's cast is able to bring to life the wit and wisdom of the Peanuts gang.
