The words theater and church do not usually go hand in hand. Theater at St. Luke's, the theater ministry of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Orlando, located off Apopka-Vineland Road, defies any stereotype one might have about putting those two words together.

DAVIS GAINES to headline in the desert at Coachella Valley Repertory on 7/30/26 @ 7pm. DAVIS performed the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera over 2,000 times on Broadway, in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Subsequently, he was chosen by Hal Prince and Lloyd Webber to play the leading role in the World Premiere of Whistle Down the Wind. Other Broadway and National Tour credits include Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly! (with CAROL CHANNING), Camelot (with RICHARD BURTON) and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (with ALEXIS SMITH). In Los Angeles, Gaines received Best Actor awards for his portrayals of Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha and Hannibal Lecter in SILENCE! The Musical. Film and television work includes Warlock: The Armageddon, Sweeney Todd, Desperate Housewives, Charmed, Chicago Hope, Veronica’s Closet, Bodies of Evidence and Murder, She Wrote. Additionally, Gaines has sung for six U.S. Presidents and with virtually every major symphony orchestra in North America, including the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. A native of Orlando, he currently resides in Los Angeles and is a frequent singer of our National Anthem for the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, Kings and Dodgers.

About to world premiere Jennifer Nettles’ new musical, Giulia: The Poison Queen of Palermo, Andrew Kober reflects on the rehearsal process, his 10 Broadway shows starting with the beloved Hair revival, and performing in five musical productions—from The Queen of Versailles to The Wild Party—in one NYC season.

Singer/songwriter/humanitarian Lauren Daigle is a two-time Grammy, seven-time Billboard Music Award, four-time American Music Award, and ten-time GMA Dove Music Award winner. Her incredible musical talents can be heard at Wolf Trap tomorrow evening June 11th at 8:00. Appearing with Ms. Daigle at Wolf Trap and other select cities will be the distinguished musical ensemble Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The Arkansas Country Music Awards, held Monday, June 1, at Reynolds Performance Hall in Conway, delivered a night filled with unforgettable memories, sincere tributes, and legendary performances.
