With just two characters and a score described as Guettel-and-Sondheim-esque, The Golden Cage is a whimsical, sophisticated story for multi-generational audiences about our self-imposed cages of isolation and illusion, and the human connection that sets us free.

Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced its 2022-2023 Broadway Series titles. Flying in to start the season is Mary Poppins followed by the theatre's August production of The Who's Tommy. In October, Man of LaMancha returns to the Algonquin Stage.

Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced the addition of New Jersey native Shayne Austin Miller to the theater's professional staff.  Miller will fill the Director of Marketing and Communications role replacing David Applegate who recently left the theatre for a new opportunity.
