The Tale of the Allergist's Wife enters its second weekend! The production features Deborah Burke, Andrea Garmun, Randye Kaye, Cody Knox and Jeff Pliskin. Performances run from November 29th through December 15th, on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, with a Thursday performance on December 5th at 8:00 p.m. Frederic Tisch directs the play, which is produced by David Victor.

Die With Your Boots On is the name of a unique collaboration between Iron Maiden and West Ham United. Multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning composer/pianist/educator Arturo O'Farrill and the non-profit The Afro Latin Jazz Alliance (ALJA) announce a special Holiday Dance Concert featuring the 18-piece Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra (ALJO) performing riveting compositions from its acclaimed repertoire at BRIC House on Thursday, December 5, 2019. The Holiday Dance Concert raises funds for the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance's Music Education Programs. The evening will be a retrospective of Latin Jazz Big Band music with an emphasis on Mambo. Arturo O'Farrill and ALJO will perform with special guest vocalists Sammy Gonzalez Jr. and Ivan Llanes. The Fat Afro Latin Jazz Cats Youth Big Band will open the show.

Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame inductee and Journey band member Jonathan Cain is tapped by ABC Audio to host its Rock & Reelz Thanksgiving weekend special. During the three-hour radio program, Cain takes a look back at some of the greatest rock songs from popular films such as 'Goodfellas,' 'Easy Rider,' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and more. The special features Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Aerosmith, Bob Seger, Pat Benatar, Blondie and Journey, as well as Cain's solo Christmas single “Wonder of Wonders” that is garnering significant radio airplay this holiday season.

Legendary, multi-award winning actress/singer Betty Buckley returns to Café Carlyle, March 10 a?" 21. Her career spans theater, film, television and concert halls around the world. She's received a sea of accolades including a Tony Award for her performance as Grizabella, the Glamour Cat, in Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS. She's a 2012 Theatre Hall of Fame inductee, and the 2017 recipient of the Julie Harris Award from The Actor's Fund for Artistic Achievement. Betty Buckley just completed a national tour of the new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! produced by Scott Rudin.

Cyrille Aimee: A Sondheim Adventure, Brandon Goldberg Trio, Sheila Jordan Birthday Celebration and more announced for the week of November 18-November 24 at Birdland Jazz Club. 

Critically-acclaimed Hollywood theatre company The New American Theatre (NAT) will present Anton Chekhov's masterpiece Uncle Vanya, directed by Artistic Director Jack Stehlin, who recently was honored along with managing director/producer Jeannine Wisnosky Stehlin with a career achievement award from Stage Raw. Subtitled 'Scenes from a Country Life in Four Acts,' Uncle Vanya is adapted by the company from a translation by Constance Garnett. Opening weekend begins Friday November 1 at 8pm.

The STRAY CATS--Brian Setzer (guitar, vocals), Lee Rocker (bass, vocals) and Slim Jim Phantom (drums, vocals)--came back strong this year with red-hot shows and the critically acclaimed 40. It's their first new album in 26 years and one celebrating the iconic American rock and roll trio's 40th anniversary. Issued by Surfdog Records and distributed by BMG (CD, vinyl, digital), the album spun off four singles: 'Cat Fight (Over A Dog Like Me),' 'Rock It Off,' 'Cry Danger' and the latest, 'Desperado,' described by the Washington Post as an 'instrumental that could have been plucked from one of Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns' (5/21/19).

The 4th Annual Adirondack Film Festival, presented by the Adirondack Theatre Festival has announced its full slate of films and special guests.  This year's lineup includes more than 135 films shown in one weekend (October 17-20) across 6 screens in Downtown Glens Falls.  To open the festival, AFF will feature James Franco's PRETENDERS – shot entirely in Albany and the Capital Reigon. 

Carrick Hill's second Spectacular Sundays program takes place on 22 September with a theme of a Spring Fling for families and garden and music lovers. Admission is free. With free parking onsite and wheelchair and pram access.
