The new musical Goddess can currently be seen in its New York premiere production at the Public Theater on Lafayette Street. Directed by the Public’s associate artistic director and resident director Saheem Ali, who is currently Tony Award-nominated for directing Buena Vista Social Club, Goddess is playing at the Public’s largest space by capacity, the Newman Theatre.

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for the smash hit TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL will go on sale tomorrow. TINA will play a strictly limited one-week engagement at Cadillac Palace Theatre from June 3 to June 8.

The Dramatists Guild of America has announced that the recipient of its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award is playwright David Henry Hwang. The award will be presented at the Guild’s annual awards ceremony on Monday, April 28.

The Alaska Center for the Performing Arts (ACPA) has announced a pause in its Broadway Alaska programming for the upcoming season, including the scheduled presentation of Disney’s The Lion King. The decision, made in collaboration with partner Nederlander, comes amid rising operational costs and the need for long-term financial sustainability.
