National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced the line-up of new musicals for their 33rd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS on Thursday October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2021. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced its 2021–2022 Theater season featuring hit Broadway musicals, acclaimed plays, Kennedy Center productions, special programming for the Center’s 50th Anniversary, and more, beginning in October 2021.

While many know Justin Shandor as one of the top Elvis tribute artists, he embraces his music roots with performances in supper clubs. Of course, he loves Elvis and will perform one of his favorites. Justin celebrates the Great American Songbook starring in Music and Me at The Vegas Room, April 8-10, and a variety of musical genres in The Music of the Night at the Italian American Club on May 2. He will then pay tribute as Elvis in Concert at the Italian American Club on May 23.

The criteria are that these shows have been nominated for Best Musical from the 3rd Tony Awards (the ceremony that started the Best Musical category) in 1949 to the nominations of what will now be the 74th Tony Awards in 2021. I will be determining their signs based upon their Broadway premiere date. With those rules in mind, here we go!

Bucks County Playhouse will celebrate the arrival of spring with the return of live music and the launch of a Spring Music Series for the months of April and May. The marquee event of the series is the Playhouse debut of the legendary jazz artist, Wynton Marsalis with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Septet.

The series is produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio and UCP, divisions of Universal Studio Group, and Seth MacFarlane’s (“The Orville,” “Family Guy,” and “Ted”) Fuzzy Door.

Jessica Lowndes and Jeremy Jordan have collaborated on a new song called Alive. The song is now available on Spotify and Apple Music. Jordan and Lowndes also created a video of them performing the song, together from different locations.
