The Vienna Symphony Orchestra will World Premiere Frank Wildhorn’s “Danube Symphony”/”Donau Symphonie” on 3 November 2022 at the famed Wiener Musikverein in Vienna with special suites from Wildhorn’s Broadway classics, Jekyll & Hyde and Dracula also making their symphonic debuts.

Second Stage Theater’s Fall Gala celebration will honor Second Stage Board Chair Terry Lindsay and her husband, Bob Lindsay, Co-Founder and Chairman of Lindsay Goldberg. The gala event will take place on Monday, October 17, 2022. The event will feature Michael Urie, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Brittney Mack and more.

Kings Theatre will welcome Pavement to Brooklyn, NY for four back to back shows from September 30 – October 3, 2022 at 8:00pm (doors at 6:30pm). Renowned as one of the most popular bands to come out of the American underground, Pavement are Stephen Malkmus, Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg, Mark Ibold, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West.

The popular Broadway talk show Live with Rye & Friends on Broadway will celebrate its one-year anniversary with two celebratory shows on Monday, September 26 and October 17 at 9:30 pm at the Triad Theater.

Gearing up for the holiday season, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmie Allen, Zach Williams and Miley Cyrus have been cast as guest stars in NBC’s “Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas.” In addition to the legendary Dolly Parton in the lead role, the film will star Tom Everett Scott, Ana Gasteyer and Angel Parker.

Orchestral principal and chamber musician Simon Cobcroft has been appointed Artistic Director of South Australia’s acclaimed Coriole Chamber Music Festival for three years commencing in 2023. Simon takes over the Directorship from his friend and colleague Anna Goldsworthy who has directed the event since 2019.

Lyric Stage will open its 29th season with the hit musical Mamma Mia! August 24-28, 2022 at Dallas' Majestic Theatre.

Furnace Fest has announced their final headlining act, Sunny Day Real Estate. The performance on Saturday, September 24th, marks one of the first US show the band has played since 2010. Fans will also be able to catch acts like Manchester Orchestra, Cursive, Elliott (performing False Cathedrals), Blindside (performing Silence), Pedro The Lion (performing Control), and many others on Saturday. Furnace Fest will be held at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday, September 23 – Sunday, September 25th. According to Deadline, actor Morgan Stevens' cause of death has been released. Stevens, who passed away on January 26th, died from arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease (heart disease) according to a statement from the Los Angeles Coroner's Office.
