The Ringwald Theatre will present August: Osage County from tonight, May 10-June 3, 2013. Capping off a successful 'Season of Family', The Ringwald has indeed saved what is arguably the best for last; certainly the biggest for last. The Ringwald has had great success with the plays of Tracy Letts in the past, producing two of his works: Bug and Killer Joe. August: Osage County promises to be every bit as compelling as his past works.

3-D Theatricals presents PARADE, tonight, May 10 - 26, 2013 at Plummer Auditorium, 201 East Chapman Ave, Fullerton, Calif., directed by T.J. Dawson, choreographed by Dana Solimando and musically directed by David Lamoureux.

Beginning on Saturday, May 18, and continuing every Saturday through July 13, The Lyric Opera Broadcasts of the 2012/13 Lyric Opera of Chicago season will be rebroadcast internationally by The WFMT Radio Network and heard locally on 98.7WFMT. Lyric's 2012-13 season comprises nine operas plus the musical Oklahoma! Two of the shorter operas, Hansel and Gretel and Elektra, will be broadcast on a single date as a double bill.

Sherri James Buxton and Friends, featuring the Bob Shepherd Trio, Charles Neville and Paul Green, is a live concert at The Colonial Theatre on June 1 at 8pm to benefit Community Resources for People with Autism. At 6pm there will be a pre-concert VIP reception in The Colonial Theatre lobby, catered by Shiro with wines from Kelly's Package Store. Those who purchase the VIP reception tickets will also be treated to pre-show entertainment by Dominic Annand on the piano.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry's premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P's Digital Single Award certification.

The Muny announced principal casting for the fifth show of its fantastic 95th season, Les Miserables. Broadway veterans Hugh Panaro and Norm Lewis make their Muny debuts starring as Jean Valjean and Javert, respectively. Also starring is Michael McCormick as Thenardier. The production is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, who served as the associate director and executive producer of the original Broadway, touring and Canadian companies of Les Miserables.

Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! premiered at Lyric Opera of Chicago Saturday, May 4. Tony Award winners Billy Crudup and Shuler Hensley will join Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in the limited season repertoire of Harold Pinter's No Man's Land and Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, directed by Sean Mathias, on Broadway at the Cort Theatre, 138 West 48th Street, this fall. Performances will begin Saturday, October 26 at 8pm. The official opening is Sunday, November 24, 2013. This limited season will run for 14 weeks only.

NBC Sports' coverage of Saturday's Kentucky Derby, won by Orb, drew a 10.4 overnight rating and a 23 share for the race portion (6-7 p.m. ET), up 16% from the 2012 Kentucky Derby, according to overnight data provided today by The Nielsen Company. The 10.4 overnight rating ties the 2010 race as the best for a Kentucky Derby in 21 years (10.9/29 in 1992).
