American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University continues its curated live music series, Live @ OBERON, with The Vijay Iyer Trio on Thursday, December 4 at 8PM.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents the Berkshire Mountain Guitar Summit at The Colonial Theatre on Thursday, November 7 at 8pm. At 6:30pm, there will be a free Luthier's Expo in The Garage, with local and regional guitar builders showcasing their work, along with entertainment by Randy Cormier. Guitar Summit tickets are $25.

Art House Productions has announced the 2019-2020 cohort of its INKubator Program. INKubator is a year-long generative process for a select group of 6 playwrights in residence at Art House Productions. This year's playwrights are Kev Berry, J. Julian Christopher, Alyssa Haddad, Christopher-Rashee Stevenson, Leila Teitelman, and Colin Waitt.

Kit Ingui, Long Wharf Theatre's current Acting Managing Director, will assume the role of Managing Director of Long Wharf Theatre effective immediately. Ingui, with 20 years of experience in Broadway and Off-Broadway production, has become a highly-regarded and key member of the leadership team since joining Long Wharf Theatre in 2017 and served as Acting Managing Director from July to September 2019.

Two-time Grammy-nominated and millions-selling progressive music titans Dream Theater are currently in the middle of a successful European tour. With three weeks left on that run, the band is turning its attention back to North America with the announcement of the next leg of the acclaimed The Distance Over Time Tour – Celebrating 20 Years of Scenes From A Memory. The next leg of the tour will kick off at the end of September and run through mid-November.

'It's Showtime' for a blockbuster lineup of performances during the 2019-2020 season at Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater.
