Prime Pantomimes Announce PETER PAN At Stafford Gatehouse Theatre

The sky's the limit this Christmas as Stafford Gatehouse Theatre today announces this year's unforgettable pantomime spectacular as swashbuckling family favourite, Peter Pan, transforms Stafford into Neverland this Christmas from 13 December - 05 January.

Get ready to think happy thoughts and fly high as the mischievous Peter embarks on an awfully big adventure, introducing the Darling children to the lost boys, sword-wielding pirates, a ravenous crocodile and the most boo-able baddie on the seven seas, Captain Hook.

Following a strong 20-year history of pantomime at Stafford Gatehouse, Peter Pan promises to be the perfect family treat this festive season with incredible costumes, heaps of audience interaction, chart-topping hits galore, a ship full of jokes and (with just a sprinkling of fairy dust!) sensational special effects.

Peter Pan will be brought to the stage by Prime Pantomimes as part of their debut season. 2019 will see the return of Flashdance The Musical to Asia following a commercially and critically successful engagement in South Korea. Both Fame and Madagascar The Musical continue their popular UK tours, with the former due to land in the West End for a strictly limited 6-week engagement at the Peacock Theatre in September, and the latter touring extensively in international markets. American Idiot has been revived for a 10th Anniversary Tour, and Avenue Q has embarked on its 3rd UK Tour. Presenting in the UK will also be the first West End production of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5 The Musical at the Savoy Theatre, as well as European premieres of Amelie and Little Miss Sunshine, both award-winning musicals based on cult classic films. Finally, Selladoor Family will launch new stage adaptations of two beloved children's properties for UK touring: Elmer The Patchwork Elephant Show and The Mr. Men & Little Miss Show. Selladoor are thrilled with the variety of work in production, and remain committed to creating daring, diverse and Dynamic Productions that are accessible to all.

Selladoor Worldwide now have offices in Bangkok, New York and Shanghai in addition to our headquarters in London, as we continue to produce and tour theatre worldwide. About Immersion Theatre

Immersion Theatre is a multi-award nominated production and general management company.

Established in 2010 by Stage One alumni James Tobias and Rochelle Parry, Immersion is a producer of pantomime, family theatre, open-air, drama, and large-scale musical theatre. Additionally, they are co-founders of Prime Pantomimes, a dedicated pantomime production company established by Immersion Theatre and Selladoor Worldwide.

At present, Immersion is a producer on the current no.1 UK Tour of Rock of Ages and their spring 2019 UK tour of Pinocchio. They will also be producing open-air tours of Alice in Wonderland and A Midsummer Night's Dream summer 2019.

About Stafford Gatehouse Theatre

The Gatehouse is a passionate and ambitious community theatre based in the heart of Staffordshire; our programme contains an eclectic mix of touring shows and self-produced drama. The main auditorium seats 550 whilst our smaller more flexible studio space has a capacity of 150 and lends itself to great comedy and live music, it also provides the perfect stage for our Youth Theatre, who over the last thirty years have delighted audiences with their talent and enthusiasm. During the summer months the theatre produces an open air Shakespeare Festival against the stunning back drop of Stafford Castle. The highlight of winter is always our pantomime, when the theatre comes alive and fills with laughter, this year we've even thrown in a little bit of magic!
