Joining the cast of brand-new British musical, Millennials, from 9 August is Georgina Castle (Cinderella), Lucca Chadwick-Patel (Legally Blonde), Jarnéia Richard- Noel (SIX the Musical), Cleve September (Hamilton), Rhys Taylor (Book of Mormon) and Becca Wickes (Heathers the Musical).

Carter Calvert, the Broadway actress-singer who previously wowed audiences at Bucks County Playhouse as the iconic country music legend in “Always ... Patsy Cline,” will bring her one-woman show, “Viva La Diva,” back to the historic playhouse on Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 pm.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this August with a full slate of nightly performances!  At Birdland Jazz Club, catch John Pizzarelli Trio, Sam Gravitte, Alexa Tarantino Quartet, Karen Mason, Artemis, John Yao Orchestra Plays Bird, Bobby Conte, and more.

A trio of Tony-nominated artists, Randy Skinner, Anna Louizos and David C. Woolard, will recreate their work for the Broadway revival of “Dames at Sea,” when the light-hearted, dance-centric musical debuts at Bucks County Playhouse, August 12 – September 11.

JERSEY BOYS, the journey of the Four Seasons’ rise and fall through the eyes of a group of friends, who became the icons of their generation, will open at Capital Repertory Theatre for previews Friday, July 15.

Syracuse Stage has announced casting for the world premiere of How to Dance in Ohio, a new musical inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name. How to Dance in Ohio’s fourteen-member cast includes Tony Award-winning RENT star Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Broadway veterans, and seven autistic actors. Learn all about the production here!

Starbucks teamed up with actress Ashley Park to create The Starbucks® Coffee Break-away, a short film set in a larger-than-life place that’s also the perfect setting for small moments of human connection: the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Bucks County Playhouse will present a special presentation of a new Broadway musical, “Female Troubles,” at the sixth Oscar Hammerstein Festival on Saturday, June 18 at 7:30 pm. The presentation, which is part concert, part insider’s preview, is open to the public. Tickets are $35.

Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company is accepting video audition submissions for five male roles (ages 13-18) for their upcoming production of “ALiEN8.” Audition submissions should include the following: auditioner’s name and age, singing 16-32 bars of any song, as well as reading each audition scene as Ethan, Zach, Brasfield, and Ray Berry. A good ol' boy in the Florida Panhandle in desperate need of work finds unexpected success—as a lip-syncing drag queen! International City Theatre presents the The Legend of Georgia McBride, a crowd-pleasing, music-filled, laugh-out-loud comedy by Matthew Lopez. Performances take place June 10 through June 26 at ICT's home in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. Two low-priced previews are set for June 8 and June 9.

Sandi Toksvig, the internationally-renowned comedian, broadcaster, writer, campaigner, and all-round good egg, will make her Australian and New Zealand touring debut with a new, specially-conceived comedy show. When the award-winning actress and playwright, Jodi Long, took her first steps on the Broadway stage in Sidney Lumet's production of “Nowhere to Go But Up,” she was entering a professional world that ran through her family's bloodline. Her Vaudevillian parents had long trod the boards – in fact, as part of a popular song and dance act, they even appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in the 1950s.

Bucks County Playhouse Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producer Josh Fiedler announced titles and creative teams for the theater’s 2022 season, which will launch May 20.

Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).
