The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, will present a return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical, Enter Laughing: The Musical with book by Joseph Stein, music and lyrics by Stan Daniels, based on the play Enter Laughing by Joseph Stein from the novel by Carl Reiner, produced in association with Riki Kane Larimer and Alene Daniels. The American Repertory Theater looks very different in 2018 after ten years with Artistic Director Diane Paulus at the helm. She has changed the institution with her vision and creativity, sculpting, in her words, a 'legacy of boundary-breaking musical theater.' FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Wildwood, a new musical created and written by Michael Kimmel (Songbird, The Last Goodbye) with music and lyrics by Elliah Heifetz (Dust Can't Kill Me) on November 7, 2018, 9:30pm. In the 1950's, Wildwood NJ was known as "The Las Vegas of the East." For three months a year, this small south Jersey town turned into the biggest party of the summer. Everything converged in Wildwood- The Rat Pack, doo wop, soul, and the beginnings of rock and roll.
