The two-part play at London's Palace Theatre has drawn over 2.5 million theatergoers since its opening, with writer Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany reflecting on the milestone.

As Harry Potter and the Cursed Child celebrates its landmark 10th anniversary in the West End this week, the ‘younger’ cast members are proving that the magic of the production extends far beyond its breathtaking stagecraft. Speaking about their roles, Joshua Sullivan who plays Albus Potter, Kai Spackman who plays Scorpius Malfoy and Tamia Renée Alexandra who plays Rose Granger Weasley, reflected on the themes that continue to resonate with audiences a decade after the show's debut, with a particular focus on their friendship, identity, family and belonging.

As Harry Potter and the Cursed Child celebrates its landmark 10th anniversary in the West End, BroadwayWorld caught up with three of the primary actors to celebrate the era and the wonder. The magic which first captivated audiences in 2016 shows no sign of fading.

425,000 tickets are now on sale for the reimagined one-part production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre. The first performance will take place in October 2026.

After ten years in the West End as a two-part theatrical event, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will evolve into a  single performance-format. The production will move to the version of the show currently performed by companies around the globe, including the Broadway production in New York City.

An all new cast has been revealed for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, in advance of the new Company’s first performance on 17 October 2023. The original two-part multi award-winning production is currently booking to 19 May 2023 at the Palace Theatre.
