New cast members have been announced for the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The new cast will begin performances at New York's Lyric Theatre on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Due to ticket demand in this week’s pre-sale, seven weeks have been added to Tom Felton’s limited engagement in Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as 'Draco Malfoy.'

Tom Felton, who for over a decade played the role of Harry Potter’s arch-nemesis “Draco Malfoy” in all eight Harry Potter films, will join the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Since news broke, Felton received support from who else, but 'dad' Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy in the series.

Tom Felton will make his Broadway debut in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, becoming the first original film cast member to join the stage play. He shared thoughts on the show and the ongoing controversy around J.K. Rowling.

On Saturday, May 24, Alex Serino, a Massachusetts native, Emerson College graduate, and lifelong Red Sox fan, threw out the Ceremonial First Pitch at Harry Potter Day at Fenway Park.
