Urbanite Theatre will continue its 2022/23 Season with the tender father-daughter drama Birds of North America by Anna Ouyang Moench. Directed by Urbanite Theatre Co-Artistic Director Summer Wallace, Birds of North America explores the complexities of familial relationships, and how personal politics and global worldviews shape our connections with those we love.

The Bad Dog Theatre Company present Comedy on Queen Street, an electrifying new winter wonderland comedy pop-up theatre to celebrate the holiday season from December 1st – 30th at the Assembly Theatre (1479 Queen Street West).

This new production of Home, I'm Darling opens at the Theatre Royal Windsor on 25 January 2023, prior to the play's first extensive national tour. Leading the cast are BAFTA award winner Jessica Ransom (Doc Martin, Armstrong and Miller, Horrible Histories) as Judy, Diane Keen (Doctors, The Cuckoo Waltz) as Sylvia and Neil McDermott (Eastenders, The Royal) as Johnny, with further casting to be announced.

The Lost Lending Library, Punchdrunk Enrichment's immersive family experience set in a magical travelling library, has a limited run at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, London from 13 December (press performances on 14 December).

Buffalo Theatre Ensemble presents 'The Cake' by Bekah Brunstetter, directed by Steve Scott, Jan.30-March 1 in the Playhouse Theatre at the McAninch Arts Center, 425 Fawell Blvd. The LA Times calls the play 'funny and smart' and observes, 'The Cake' explores human conflict from an insightful, slightly offbeat perch with understanding, respect and compassion for opposing points of view.' There will be a preview performance 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan 30; press opening is 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 31. Performances run through March 1.

a??a??a??a??a??a??a??The Novato Theater Company first play of its 2019/20 season is The Humans, by Stephen Karam. The play, opening on September 6 and running until September 29, 2019 is directed by the award winning Patrick Nims. The Humans won four Tony Awards in 2016, including best play and was a finalist for the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

This Spring, the writer and performer of the acclaimed Living With The Lights On, Mark Lockyer is set to tour the UK with his new show KEEP ON WALKING FEDERICO. This follows its sell-out premiere at Theatre Lliure, Barcelona last October.

The Everyman & Playhouse have announced further casting for associate director Nick Bagnall's anarchic production of the musical Sweeney Todd.

A politically-charged production of the gruesome musical Sweeney Todd (Fri 12 Apr to Sat 18 May) will be brought to life on the Everyman stage in April 2019. Directed by Nick Bagnall, the production explores the social inequalities in a decaying nineteenth century England ruled by the corruption of the upper classes. Liam Tobin (Everyman Company 2017 and 2018) plays the role of Sweeney Todd, with the full cast to be announced in the New Year. This bold production is joined by exciting collaborations with other theatre-makers.
