Tony Award-winning Playwright Christopher Durang has been diagnosed with logopenic primary progressive aphasia (PPA), BroadwayWorld has learned.

The Andes Dance Collective, founded by dancer/choreographers Gloria McLean, Columbine Macher, David Capps and composer/performer Marshall Coid, presents the DELAWARE COUNTY 2ND DANCE FILM FESTIVAL AND WORKSHOP, bringing new dance and music events to the Catskills Delaware County region.  This year, in two 4-day weekends, July 21-24 and August 4-7, the Festival will include two live dance/music performances (premieres), film screenings, and dance workshops.

For years the fans have wished for a CD release of Liza's 1979 Carnegie Hall concert. Now, thanks to the folks at Real Gone Music, it is.

The Broadway League has revealed the honorees of the League Awards, which were announced today during the League's 2022 Spring Road Conference, celebrating industry professionals whose outstanding achievements contribute to the success of Broadway on the Road. Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 30th annual production of A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL, December 17-23 at the Byham Theater. This year's production, directed by Scott Evans, will feature lavish costumes, thrilling effects and a talented ensemble of both new and returning performers.
