Jefferson Performing Arts Society proudly announces its 45th season mainstage directors, featuring directors based in New Orleans, New York, and San Antonio. Several directors are returning to JPAS after directing or performing with JPAS in recent seasons; two make their JPAS directorial debut this season. The following overview includes shows that are part of JPAS mainstage season subscription packages, currently on sale. Single ticket sales open June 6th for all 45th season shows. Broadway in Syracuse has announced the lineup for its upcoming 2022-23 season. The season kicks off this October with Annie, and runs through May 2023.

On June 6, 2022, more than 180 elementary students from Providence and Pawtucket, RI will have the extraordinary opportunity to sing, dance, and act on the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) stage as the result of a grant awarded to PPAC by Disney.

Yale Repertory Theatre will conclude its 2022 season with Between Two Knees. The play, written by the intertribal sketch comedy troupe The 1491s and directed by Eric Ting, is presented with Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Between Two Knees will be performed May 12–June 4 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street).

Spanish Lyric Theatre aka SLT Productions will take on the rock musical Tick, Tick...Boom! as they welcome audiences back with their first full production since Covid. Staged in English, Tick, Tick... Boom! is the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist of Rent.

The full cast for Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Virginia Woolf's time and gender shifting masterpiece Orlando has been announced today.

Nathan R. Matthews is producing and performing in a concert for The Riverside Opera Ensemble at Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Music Center on May 16th. Tony nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime) and Grammy winner Edward Parks (The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs) will headline the concert of new music by Dreamworks composer Drew Fornarola and Matthews himself.

Performances for Penelope resume TOMORROW, Saturday afternoon, April 2 at 2:30PM.
