Manhattan Concert Productions has announced that Eden Espinosa, Alex Newell, and Jessica Vosk will share the role of a?oeNarratora?? in the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center on February 17, 2020 at 8:00 pm. Espinosa, Newell, and Vosk join previously announced Noah Galvin (Joseph), Michael Arden (Stage Director) and Stephen Oremus (Music Director) in leading this one-night-only performance, featuring a chorus of over 300 singers from across the United States, professional cast and creative team, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.

The New York Pops performs the timeless music of Rodgers and Hammerstein on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. in Find Your Dream: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein joined by guest artists Laura Michelle Kelly and Max von Essen, as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. A major programming highlight to note for this fall, Carnegie Hall has invited Grammy Award-winning singer Angélique Kidjo to chart the journey of African music and culture around the world for her season-long Perspectives series with four concerts including: Benin International Musical; a concert dedicated to the powerful voices of the African diaspora led by musical director Terence Blanchard featuring The E-Collective; guitarist Lionel Loueke and his trio; and a special concert marking both Ms. Kidjo's 60th birthday and the anniversary of independence for Benin and 16 other West African countries.

On Saturday, January 19, 2019, the Brooklyn Music School (BMS)community came together at the historic Brooklyn Music School Playhouse Theater (126 Saint Felix Street, Brooklyn, NY) to honor and pay tribute to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the 17th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert. The concert showcased the BMS Students and the great variety of musical programs that the school offers - from the BMS Orchestra opening the show to the newest adult ensemble, Motown Mondays, headlining the concert. Students of all level, talent, and instrument shined brightly as they paid tribute to the inspiring legacy and words of Dr. King.
