The comedy of Paula Poundstone, Lewis Black, FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, Whose Live Anyway? and evenings with Luann de Lesseps (a.k.a. Countess Luann), The Outlaws with special guest the Pat Travers Band, Village People, Darlene Love and Jonathan Antoine as well as the holiday favorite The Nutcracker are among the events this December in Lillian S. The holiday season is a very special time of year at City Springs. Running alongside Fever Pitch in the late slot will be THE GOOD DAD from 31 August – 11 September, followed by KING, from 21 – 25 September. RAT KING will play from 5 – 9 October, LOVESICK will play from 2 – 6 November, followed by DARLING from 9 – 27 November, and this year's festive offering will be a live adaptation of one of the Hope at Home shows put out digitally during the pandemic, 21 ROUND FOR CHRISTMAS, playing from 30 November – 18 December.

After the previous season was cut short, the company is glad to pick back up and reopen its doors with a world premiere of a new musical!

In October, 2019, Open Stage reopened the facility at 25 North Court Street after a half-million dollar renovation, featuring a brand new black box Studio Theater, a modern lobby and bar ( dubbed The Court Street Cabaret), and made a slew of other updates, kicking off a year of performances that looked to be one of the small professional house's strongest seasons ever.

I don’t look back on these as the best shows I’ve ever done, but I will always have memories from them, whether they're good or bad.

Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre remembers and celebrates one of their founding members MICHAEL JONES, who passed away a year ago. An Emmy winner and recipient of the Oklahoma Governor’s Arts Award, Michael was a co-founder and Artistic Associate at OKC Rep. While Michael was a pillar of the OKC theatre community, he also worked all over the country. Michael touched the lives and hearts of so many he worked with. The OKC theatre community remembers Michael Jones.
