The National Theatre announced further casting and dates for its 2026 season, including Cate Blanchett in ELECTRA/PERSONA, Anne-Marie Duff in SOME WOMAN, and new casts for CLOUD 9 and THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE.

The League of Improv today has revealed a a Summer season of bright, sharp, and ridiculously funny comedy, with three shows, each featuring a high profile stand-up star as Special Guest. 

Directed by John Tiffany (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Black Watch and Wild Rose), the uplifting and moving new production will run at Pitlochry Festival Theatre from 23 May- 27 June.

The new Broadway season is in full swing, full of exciting new shows and revivals of beloved classics. Based on the 2005 British film of the same name, the musical features music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, and a book by Harvey Fierstein. Mostly inspired by true events, the musical tells the story of Charlie Price, a man who is down on his luck and has just inherited a failing shoe factory from his father. To help save the business, Charlie meets and eventually befriends Lola, a local Cabaret performer and Drag Queen. The two form an unlikely bond and produce a line of high-heeled boots for a certain “niche market.” Through the business venture and unlikely partnership, the two discover they are not so different after all.

Shakespeare’s Globe has announced the cast of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, directed by Ola Ince. The Crucible is the first modern classic to be staged at the Globe Theatre.

On April 14, 2025, Virginia's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre will honor star of stage and screen Mandy Patinkin with the company's fourteenth Stephen Sondheim Award.
