New Local History melodrama "Placer County Railroad War of 1864" opens for FRANKENSTEIN or The Man and The Monster, an interactive melodrama. You'll cheer and boo, you'll be moved by the music, and find yourself belly laughing -- and maybe even coming to your feet to play a small role! Placer Repertory Theater is SO EXCITED to share this interactive melodramatic event, fun for families (including children of ages 8 and up). T.S. Forsyth crafts a new Local History melodrama, "Placer County Railroad War of 1864," to open the evening, followed by her adaptation of FRANKENSTEIN or The Man and The Monster! by H.M. Milner. Penned in 1826, and a great success on the British stages, this Frankenstein play was described as "A peculiar romantic, melo-dramatic pantomimic spectacle, in two acts” Now isn’t that intriguing?! CAST INCLUDES: With special characters and ensemble parts played by THE AUDIENCE!
