Just last night, MCC Theater presented its annual Miscast gala, where Broadway's hottest stars performed songs from roles in which they would never be cast.

Three-time Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry and Ricky Ubeda have come to the Jellicle Ball and teamed up for a new take on the classic song 'Memory' from the musical Cats, combining acoustic guitar and modern dance. Check out the clip below!

It wasn't long ago that Joshua Henry, who recently starred in the original Chicago company of Hamilton, brought us #HamJams- his own versions of Lin-Manuel Miranda's tunes. Now he's playing Billy Bigelow in Carousel (a performance for which he just earned his third Tony nomination) and he's mixing up the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein!

The company of Carousel had reason to celebrate this week, as the show picked up eleven Tony nominations. One of them went to the outstanding choreography of Justin Peck, who makes his Broadway debut with this piece. Watch as the company brings his vision to life on the Imperial stage below!

Broadway was busting out all over last night at the Imperial Theatre! That's because Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical Carousel, under the direction of three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien and choreography by Justin Peck, opened officially, bringing the beloved show back to Broadway for the first time in over 20 years. 

Jelani Alladin (Kristoff), Greg Hildreth (Olaf), John Riddle (Hans) and the entire cast of the new Broadway hit Frozen surprised the sold-out house at the St. James Theatre this afternoon with a tribute to Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical Oklahoma!, which opened at the St. James Theatre 75 years ago today, on March 31, 1943.

Joshua Henry is getting ready to open yet another Broadway show, and even that isn't the biggest thing to happen to him this month. The Tony nominee just announced that he and his wife, Cathryn Stringer, just welcomed their first child into the world.
