Today we rewind to 2014, when The Bridges of Madison County was preparing for Broadway. The musical, written by Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman, played for 100 performances at the Gerald Schoennfeld Theatre.

The cast included Keith Carradine, Hunter Foster, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Keala Settle, Allison Case, and Dale Soules. For ten hard-luck Texans, a new lease on life is so close they can touch it. Under a scorching sun for days on end, armed with nothing but hope, humor and ambition, they'll fight to keep at least one hand on a brand new truck in order to win it. This episode of Broadway Rewind takes Richard Ridge to the opening night of the off- Broadway musical Frankenstein, which starred Hunter Foster, Steve Blanchard and Christiane Noll. We also drop by the CD recording of the hit musical Xanadu, where Cheyenne Jackson told Ridge, 'Xanadu lifts you up. It's 90 minutes but you are onstage the entire time. I'm loving it.'

Tony nominee, Kate Baldwin, joined composer Georgia Stitt onstage at Birdland in New York City to perform Stitt's song, 'Something That You Do' as part of  the The Broadway at Birdland concert series.

Redhouse continues its stellar 2019 season with the Tony Award-Winning play, God of Carnage co-starring two Broadway veterans Jeremy Kushnier and Jennifer Cody who both will make their Redhouse MainStage debuts. The show, will be directed by Redhouse Artistic Director, Tony Nominated actor and Director Hunter Foster, who is coming off his directorial debut at Redhouse of the smash hit RENT. 'This show portrays a very realistic and sometimes uncomfortable view of parenting and manages to do it in a very fast-paced and comedic way'. The show opened at Redhouse November 7th with performances running through November 17th.

Continuing a Halloween-season tradition, Bucks County Playhouse will revive its popular production of Richard O'Brien's 'The Rocky Horror Show' live on stage beginning Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 27.
