Stephen Schwartz is currently working on a new Oz spin-off movie alongside book writer Winnie Holzman, which would be based on L. Frank Baum's The Marvelous Land of Oz, and would tell the story of Princess Ozma.

The Broadway blockbuster WICKED will welcome new principal cast members to the Gershwin Theatre beginning Tuesday, March 3rd. They will join a company that will include the recently announced Keri René Fuller as Elphaba and Emma Flynn as Glinda.

Wicked the Musical will play Dubai Opera from January 28 through February 15, 2026. Co-presented by Dubai Opera and Broadway Entertainment Group, the international production features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. Wicked will be holding an open call in Miami for singers and dancers for the Broadway and National Touring companies! The open call will take place at DanceArts Miami.
