Lorna Dallas, one of cabaret's most acclaimed and cherished artists and the recipient of a 2020 Bistro Award for “Consummate Cabaret Artistry,” returns to Chelsea Table + Stage.

To say that the Tony Award-winning 2022 musical “Some Like It Hot,” which Broadway in Boston is presenting at Citizens Opera House through February 8, has quite a pedigree is putting it mildly.

While a lot has been written about two handers, a term for two-person shows, less has been penned about three-handers. Yet, three-person plays are just as common a genre on Broadway as pieces with only two players. Currently, Art, by Yasmina Reza, is receiving an all-star revival at the Music Box.

The Broadway In Memoriam Committee has announced that a select group of theatres will dim their marquee lights on Tuesday, June 17 at 6:45 PM in a special individual tribute to William Finn, the Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist behind Falsettos and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

The newly formed Broadway In Memoriam Committee, composed of theatre owners in consultation with industry service organizations, has confirmed the inaugural marquee dimming. See who will be honored.

The initial wave of talent includes The LOX, Da Brat, GZA, Lupe Fiasco, MC Lyte, Fabolous, Xzibit, Dead Prez, The Pharcyde, Paul Wall, Buckshot & Smif-N-Wessun, Onyx, Nappy Roots, Kool G Rap, MC Sha-Rock and Ed Lover.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report the passing of stage and screen actor Tony Roberts. He was 85 years old. His stage resume also included appearances in Promises, Promises (1968), They’re Playing Our Song (1979), and Victor/Victoria (1995) alongside Julie Andrews. His other notable Broadway credits include Cabaret (1987 revival), and Xanadu (2007).

 Music Theatre of Connecticut will continue its 38th season with Ken Ludwig’s Moon Over Buffalo. This riotous comedy is a wild ride of eccentric characters, a show-within-a show, and a hilarious love triangle.
