Nickelodeon has extended multi-talented, actor/comedian/artist/producer Nick Cannon's deal as Chairman of TeenNick through Jan. 2012, it was announced today by Cyma Zarghami, President, Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group.

Premiering this August on BET and Centric Networks, each episode takes viewers behind the scenes with modern day pop stars, musical revolutionaries, sexy soulful singers and emerging hip hop artists. RISING ICONS chronicles the artists' lives both on and off the stage, at home and on the road, giving an inside glimpse into their roads to stardom. Talent for this season includes: B.o.B, ELEW, Estelle, J. Cole, Jay Sean, Jeremih, Laura Izibor, and Melanie Fiona. The presentation of this series on BET and Centric Networks also completes a multi-platform execution with further visibility on BET.com.

Oxygen Media greenlights new docu-series 'The Aubrey O'Day Project,' which follows international superstar and multi-platinum recording artist Aubrey O'Day as she launches the next stage of her career. The announcement was made today by Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior Vice President, Original Programming and Development.

The next wave of nominees has been announced for Teen Choice 2010 airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. New categories include Choice Movie Scene Stealer, Choice Celebrity Fashion Line, Choice Web Star, Choice Smile, Choice American Idol Alum, Choice Country Song, and Choice Country Album. 'Glee' and 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' lead the second wave of Teen Choice 2010 nominees with 9 nominations each.

Back for its 7th year, the '2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors' will celebrate the achievements of hip hop with a little southern twist. This year, the show will celebrate the music, the influence and the artists from The South. Honorees Jermaine Dupri, J Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, Luther 'Luke' Campbell, The 2 Live Crew, Master P, and Organized Noize will be honored through performances in collaboration with some of today's hottest talent. Hosted by Craig Robinson, '2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South' will tape from NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom and air on VH1 on Monday, June 7 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
