Joy Productions and Broadway Theatre will return to present Dick Whittington and his Catford Cat, their third consecutive festive family show in Lewisham's glorious Art Deco Theatre.

DocDoc has announced a new partnership with the national anxiety charity No Panic, ahead of the show's UK premiere engagements at Churchill Theatre Bromley (5-15 February) and Palace Theatre Southend (18-23 February).

First programming has been announced for Soho Theatre Walthamstow, a major new 960-seat venue opening in May 2025 that will house the very best UK and international comedy, theatre, cabaret and panto, alongside a creative engagement programme.

Joy Productions has announced the return of their celebrated Panto partnership with Broadway Theatre, Catford unveiling the Principal Cast and Creative team for this year's much-anticipated pantomime Sleeping Beauty.

The 2024 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize has been awarded to UK playwright Ava Pickett for her play 1536.  Awarded annually since 1978, The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize is the largest and oldest international award recognizing women+ who have written works of outstanding quality for the English-speaking theatre. Joy Productions has announced the full cast for their inaugural pantomime Jack And The Beanstalk at the Broadway Theatre, Catford, marking a new addition to London's festive calendar.

There are some things we don’t see enough in theatre. A few of these are: stories about women who love women and roles for older female-identifying actors. When these two come together, beauty often happens. Es & Flo is exactly this. Written by Jennifer Lunn, it follows Es’ condition as it threatens the life she’s built with Flo. It’s a stark reminder of the legacy of senior members of the LGBTQ+ community, a testimony of the survivors who fought for those rights that are still under threat today. It’s a harrowing celebration of lesbian romance.

Kiln Theatre has announced that Indhu Rubasingham will step down as Artistic Director of the company, leaving early 2024, having led the company for over a decade.
