This Summer, 11th Hour Theatre Company will adapt its exciting musical programming to the virtual screen in 'Society XI Online.'

11th Hour Theatre Company and Cardinal Stage team up to present the fourth-wall smashing musical sensation, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. This production will be directed by 11th Hour co-founder and resident director, Megan Nicole O'Brien, and star another 11th Hour co-founder and local favorite, Steve Pacek, in the title role.

This April, a live stage version of everyone's favorite Dr. Seuss book, DR. SEUSS' THE CAT IN THE HAT, returns to Philadelphia at the Arden Theatre Company in Old City. All of the beloved characters-Sally, the Boy, Thing 1 and Thing 2, the Fish, and, of course, the Cat himself-come to life on the Arcadia Stage from April 8 through June 7, 2020. A limited number of seats have been reserved for reviewing press on April 18 at 4PM, or any performance afterwards.

This co-production was a no-brainer for both companies, as the Cardinal Stage Artistic Director is former 11th Hour Associate Producer, and home-grown powerhouse, Kate Galvin.  11th Hour Theatre Company has announced an exciting 15th Anniversary season. The only company in the city dedicated to producing all musicals has created a line-up of two Next Step Concerts of rarely produced musicals and a Mainstage musical years in the making. The season kicks off with a concert version of William Finn and James Lapine's Falsettos.  Then the company starts 2020 with a bang and a concert of Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Tim Rice's Chess. Philadelphians don't have to look far to find quality and thoughtful entertainment that will appeal to their entire family. The Arden Theatre Company's 2019-20 Children's Theatre season includes two shows that will delight kids of all ages, and the kid-at-heart in all of us.

11th Hour Theatre Company heats up the city with a three-show concert performance of City of Angels. This TONY Award winning musical will feature a cast of musical theatre stars and the 17-piece Big Band from The Summer Club. City of Angels has a book by Larry Gelbart, Music by Cy Coleman, and Lyrics by David Zippel. It is directed by 11th Hour Resident Director Megan Nicole O'Brien with Music Direction by Dan Kazemi. Theatre Horizon closes it's 2018-19 Season of 'Exploring Horizons' with a heartfelt story of learning how to carry on when true love goes missing, told simply and sweetly through music, clowning, dance, and theatre magic.

This annual series of one-night only events, designed to put local favorite musical theatre performers front and center, will now feature some up-and-coming Philly artists that the company thinks audiences should get know.
