Photo Flash: First Look at David Calder, Amanda Hale & More in West End's THE NETHER

The Nether is now in playing at the Duke of York's Theatre. Directed by Jeremy Herrin,Jennifer Haley's critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning play is booking for 12 weeks only to 25 April 2015. David Calder (Doyle) joins original cast members Amanda Hale (Morris), Ivanno Jeremiah (Woodnut) and Stanley Townsend (Sims) who are joined by Jaime Adler, Zoe Brough, Perdie Hibbins and Isabella Pappas who alternate the role of Iris. Set designs are by Es Devlin, with costume designs by Christina Cunningham, lighting by Paul Pyant, compositions by Nick Powell, sound by Ian Dickinson and video design by Luke Halls.

THE RIVER, Starring Hugh Jackman, Closes on Broadway Today

The River, the critically acclaimed new play by Jez Butterworth, starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo and directed by Ian Rickson, closes today, February 8, 2015 at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre.

West End's SUNNY AFTERNOON Announces Extension

Due to extraordinary public demand, the new hit British musical SUNNY AFTERNOON has announced a further extension to its West End run. It is now booking until 24 October 2015, at the Harold Pinter Theatre. The critically acclaimed new musical, which tells the story of the early life of Ray Davies and the rise to stardom of The Kinks, recently celebrated its 100th performance.

West End's KING CHARLES III Heading to Broadway This Fall?

Mike Bartlett's critically acclaimed new play, King Charles III directed by Rupert Goold, is currently playing in the West End at the Wyndham's Theatre, and according to the New York Times, the show might soon travel across the pond. The NYT reports that producers Stuart Thompson and Sonia Friedman are looking to bring the play to Broadway in Fall 2015. Tim Pigott-Smith, who plays the title role in London is expected to reprise his performance.

UK's BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM Now Booking Through October 2015

A further 200,000 tickets are released for sale today for this year's new British West End Musical Bend It Like Beckham taking sales at the Phoenix Theatre to 24 October 2015. London previews begin on 15 May 2015 with opening night on 24 June 2015.

West End's THE NETHER to Host Post-Show Talkbacks

The Nether will host post-show Q&A talks during the play's West End run at the Duke of York's Theatre. With members of the creative team, as well as further guests from the worlds of theatre, the media, gaming and technology industries, there will be 6 Q&A talks after selected performances of the play. All Q&A talks are free for The Nether ticket holders.

Dew, Samuels and Kalidas Confirmed For BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM, Opening May 2015!

Natalie Dew will play football crazy Jess with Lauren Samuels as Jules, a player with the Harriers, a local women's football team, and Jamie Campbell Bower as their coach Joe. Opening at the Phoenix Theatre on 24 June 2015, London previews for Bend It Like Beckham begin on 15 May 2015. Ronni Ancona will play Paula, Jules's Mum, with Jamal Andreas as Jess' good friend Tony. Preeya Kalidas plays Pinky, Jess' sister, with Tony Jayawardena and Natasha Jayetileke as her parents, Mr and Mrs Bhamra.

Hugh Jackman-Led THE RIVER Recoups on Broadway

Producer Sonia Friedman just announced that The River, the critically acclaimed new play by Jez Butterworth, starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo and directed by Ian Rickson, has recouped its $3.2 million capitalization as of this week. The production plays through Sunday, February 8, 2015 only, at Circle in the Square Theatre (50th Street, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

UK's KING CHARLES III to Extend into January 2015; Run Ends Jan. 31

There are only six weeks left to see Mike Bartlett's critically acclaimed new play, King Charles III directed by Rupert Goold. The play's West End run, which began at the Wyndham's Theatre on 2nd September, was extended by 9 weeks due to popular demand and ends on 31st January 2015.

Ray Davies CD Signing At SUNNY AFTERNOON On Dec 18

Ray Davies of The Kinks will be signing CD copies of the official cast recording album of Sunny Afternoon, Lola vs the Powerman new deluxe edition and the new Kinks five-CD box set 'The Anthology 1964-1971', at the Harold Pinter Theatre, London, from 4.00pm - 5.15pm on 11 December 2014.

Orlando James, Eve Ponsonby & More Join Cast of SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE

The critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare in Love will begin rehearsals with a new cast on 8 December, taking over at the Noel Coward Theatre from 12 January 2015. The production, which has one of the biggest ever casts for a play in the West End, has twice extended its run due to popular demand and is now booking until April 2015.

David Calder joins the West End cast of The Nether to play Doyle, previewing at the Duke of York's Theatre from 30 January 2015 and opening on 23 February. Directed by Jeremy Herrin, Jennifer Haley's critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning play is booking for 12weeks only to 25 April 2015. In a Headlong and Royal Court Theatre co-production, The Nether is produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions and Scott M Delman in association with Tulchin Bartner Productions, Lee Dean & Charles Diamond, 1001 Nights, JFL Theatricals/GHF Productions.
