The cast of New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s revival of Into the Woods at the St. James Theatre has been announced through November 20. Into the Woods has now extended for the final time, by popular demand, through January 8, 2023. 

It's week 2 and BroadwayWorld is taking you behind the scenes of Into the Woods on Broadway with our new vlog series by Kennedy Kanagawa, who puppeteers breakout star Milky White on Broadway.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Into the Woods will be released on September 30 on streaming and digital download. Physical CDs will be available December 2, with a vinyl release planned for March 12, 2023. Watch this video as Sara Bareilles records 'Moments in the Woods'.

This week on the first of three episodes (one for each midnight), Kanagawa takes us behind the scenes, asks his cast members for some character insights, shows us some pranks, and gives us the inside scoop on dollar Friday.

In a new segment on CBS Mornings, correspondent Jamie Wax sat down with Kennedy Kanagawa, who is the Milky White puppeteer in Into the Woods on Broadway. The puppet, which is mostly made of recylced cardboard, steals the hearts of audiences in the acclaimed Broadway revival of the classic Stephen Sondheim musical. Watch the new video interview now!

Block as the Baker’s Wife, Sebastian Arcelus as the Baker, Krysta Rodriguez as Cinderella, Katy Geraghty as Little Red Ridinghood, Jim Stanek as the Steward, and Montego Glover will share the role of The Witch with Patina Miller. Gavin Creel and Joshua Henry extend as the Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince and Rapunzel’s Prince, respectively.
