If Dinosaur Jr. wrote an album with Wilco, you'd get the alt-rock, americana, shoegaze cocktail that is Boston's own, The Big Lonesome. BWW Reviews: EVITA Brings a New Argentina to DC's Kennedy Center
by Jamie McGonnigal - Oct 3, 2014

There are few shows I know every word to, and even fewer I've known for 30 years. When I was 10, I was in the chorus of a community theatre production of EVITA in Hingham, MA. I became obsessed. In 5th grade, we had to do a biographical report on anyone we chose. All the other boys chose Babe Ruth, Abraham Lincoln, Ted Williams...I threw up my hand and shouted 'Eva Peron!' The black and white covered vinyl double album became my own personal soundtrack. And I was somehow surprised that people knew I was gay.

'EVITA' Broadway National Tour Comes to Shea's in Buffalo Today
by Toronto Newsdesk - Jun 10, 2014

It was like a scene from Neil Simon's "The Sunshine Boys." `I came from the people; they need to adore me /So Christian Dior me from my head to my toes.' The show? "Evita."

BWW Reviews: EVITA is Adored at the Majestic Theatre
by Erin Privratsky - Apr 30, 2014

The musical, which originally opened on Broadway in 1979 and has been revived several times - including an amazing (in my opinion) film adaptation starring Madonna - is currently touring the US and has made a stop in San Antonio.
