OLIVER! to Open at Algonquin Arts Theatre With Cast of 42
Reagan White, Maxwell DeVivo and Sean McLaughlin join the cast under the direction of Anthony Greco in Manasquan.
Algonquin Arts Theatre has announced the cast of Lionel Bart's Oliver!, running October 16 through October 25, 2026, at the theatre's home at 60 Abe Voorhees Drive in Manasquan. Box office hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A beloved musical based on Charles Dickens' timeless novel, Oliver! tells the story of a young boy searching for home and belonging. Featuring unforgettable songs like "Food, Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," and "As Long As He Needs Me," this classic remains a moving and uplifting theatrical experience.
Leading the cast are Johnny Randazzo as Oliver, Steven Copp as Fagin, Reagan White as Nancy, Maxwell DeVivo as the Artful Dodger, Kylie Ferland as Bet, Sean McLaughlin as Bill Sikes, Anthony Preuster as Mr. Bumble, Lynne Truex as Widow Corney, Stephen Rubino as Mr. Sowerberry/Dr. Grimwig/Board Member, Jessica Carnavas as Mrs. Sowerberry/Female Ensemble, Barry Prag as Mr. Brownlow and Dr. Karen Gray as Mrs. Bedwin.
“Oliver! has a special place in musical theatre because it brings generations together,” said Pamela Ward, Executive Director of Algonquin Arts Theatre. “It has humor, heart, unforgettable music and a story about finding home and belonging that still resonates. We're excited to welcome families to experience this classic together and introduce a new generation to the magic of live theatre.”
The production is directed by Anthony Greco, with choreography by Jessica O'Brien and music direction by Stephen Strouse. The creative team also includes Jenn Eagan (AYE Teaching Artist), Caroline Laberdee (Stage Manager), Jason Greenhouse (Scenic Design), Emily Davis (Costume Design), Roman Klima (Lighting Design), Jan Topoleski (Sound Design), Joe Ficarra (Prop Design) and Chris Strangfeld (Producer).
Performances are Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 p.m.; Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m.
