Rise and shine, BroadwayWorld! It is March 23, 2026 and it's time to catch up on all of the theatrical happenings you may have missed over the weekend.

Starting Up, a new musical comedy, will receive three industry presentations, starring Sam Primack, Erin Morton and more. Starting Up is written by Garett Press and directed by Jen Wineman.

Prospect Musicals has revealed additional guests for the second week of events of the 2026 IGNITE Concert Festival, running through March 30th at Baruch Performing Arts Center.

Valley Youth Theatre will present its 28th annual staging of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, offering performances December 5–23, 2025. Special sing-along and morning performances will round out the seasonal run.

Arizona Musicfest, a leading arts and cultural destination in the Valley, will present its second musical theater collaboration with the Herberger Theater Center, featuring Ragtime.

TheaterWorks will present the Tony Award-winning musical comedy The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee from October 24 through November 9, 2025, at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.
