The Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) will honor Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures with the ETF Entertainment Industry Award, at Thespians Go Hollywood, Monday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Avalon Hollywood. The annual benefit supports theatre education programs for schools in need by bringing together film, theatre, and television professionals with current high school students in a cabaret show that is entertaining, inspiring and not-to-be-missed.

The Personal History of David Copperfield leads the list of nominations for the 2019 British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs), announced this morning by British actors Naomi Ackie and Joe Cole at the Regent Street Cinema. JUDY, The Original Soundtrack, will be released on September 27, coinciding with the release of the feature film, starring Renee Zellweger as Judy Garland. The film is based on the true story of Judy Garland's final concerts in London in the late 1960s.

Variety reports that actress Renee Zellweger has signed a first look deal with MGM TV. She plans to develop new projects to direct and potentially star in.
