JUDY GARLAND 'World's Greatest Entertainer' is available for licensing to both individual theatres throughout the world OR seeking a production company/investor to mount a tour.

Roadside Attractions and Samuel Goldwyn Films have co-acquired worldwide rights to Max Lewkowicz's FIDDLER: A MIRACLE OF MIRACLES. The documentary tells the story behind one of Broadway's most beloved musicals, Fiddler on The Roof and its creative roots in early 1960s New York. The film includes interviews with the show's Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning lyricist Sheldon Harnick, legendary producer Hal Prince, original cast members, such as Austin Pendleton, as well as rare archival footage of renowned choreographer Jerome Robbins. Further insights into the play's legacy and enduring influence come from new interviews with Broadway luminaries and cultural influencers including Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, Chaim Topol, Harvey Fierstein as well as famed authors Fran Lebowitz, Calvin Trillin and Nathan Englander. Roadside and Goldwyn will release FIDDLER: A MIRACLE OF MIRACLES in theatres this summer.

Jazzing up central Oahu at the Dr. Richard T. Mamiya theatre is the 'junior' production of esteemed Broadway magnate Bob Fosse's Chicago. A glitzy musical filled with deceit, manipulation, and murder, Saint Louis Center for the Arts's production is an enjoyable time at the theatre.

Ronn David McPhatter, the son of two rhythm and blues greats, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Ruth Brown and Clyde McPhatter, will perform his new show "The Son of Legends" at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 8:30 PM.   McPhatter has toured for several years as lead singer of the Drifters, the group that his famous father led back in the 1950's. 

As the red-jacket usher guided us to our seats before the opening curtain of 'Chicago' at the Connor Palace she said, 'I love musical theater, especially if the show has a Fosse influence.'

The late, legendary producer Craig Zadan, and his producing partner, Neil Meron, were honored last night as the inaugural recipients of the Theatre for Life Award by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) for the imaginative transformation of live theatre in film, television, and associated media.

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces principal company for its major revival of one of the world's most-beloved musicals of all time, Fiddler on the Roof, in a new staging by Trevor Nunn. Joining the previously announced Andy Nyman (Tevye) is Judy Kuhn as Golde, with Harriet Bunton (Hodel), Dermot Canavan (Lazar Wolf), Stewart Clarke (Perchik), Matt Corner (Fyedka), Joshua Gannon (Motel), Louise Gold (Yente), Kirsty MacLaren (Chava) and Molly Osborne (Tzeitel).

The life of late legendary producer Craig Zadan will be celebrated by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) - the organization dedicated to supporting theatre arts in schools and nurturing students all over the country - at the organization's annual West Coast gala Thespians Go Hollywood - Honoring the Life and Work of Craig Zadan. The celebration will take place on November 11, 2018 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' headquarters in North Hollywood.  The announcement was made by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment, and Julie Cohen Theobald, President of the Educational Theatre Foundation.

John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff's Tony-winning masterpiece, Cabaret, opens at The Gateway on August 3, (Previews begin August 1) featuring unforgettable songs like "Maybe This Time," "Two Ladies," "Don't Tell Mama," and the title song, "Cabaret." Ticket prices range from $59-$89 per show with Previews starting at $49. This morning, Radar 'exclusively' reported, 'Renee Zellweger and Liza Minnelli have taken a genuine liking to each other, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively, now that Zellweger is playing her mom in the upcoming Judy Garland biopic.' Only a few hours later, Minelli, the daughter of the famed Judy Garland herself, took to Facebook to clear things up.

The Shubert Organization and movie/television/theatre producers Craig Zadan & Neil Meron, fresh off their juggernaut NBC television event 'Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE,' announced today that they have acquired the coveted rights to adapt Some Like It Hot as an all-new musical for the stage from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios.

City Theatre (@citytheatremia) and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County (@arshtcenter) are proud to present SUMMER SHORTS, America's Short Play Festival. Playing May 31-July 1, 2018 in the intimate Carnival Studio Theater (Ziff Ballet Opera House) and led by City Theatre Artistic Director Margaret M. Ledford, SUMMER SHORTS is an annual theatrical celebration that showcases the diversity of Miami through a variety of new short plays and musicals.

Check out this first look at Renée Zellweger as Judy Garland in the upcoming biopic. Tony nominee Rupert Goold (AMERICAN PSYCHO, KING CHARLES III, ENRON) will direct from a script penned by THE CROWN's Tom Edge. Production on the film has just began though an official release date has yet to be announced. 

Later tonight, Hollywood royalty will gather at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to salute the greatest achievements of the year in motion pictures. Of course, Broadway will be in the house with nominees for Best Original Song- a category that has a rich history of musical theatre representation.
