After sold-out runs in New York, Washington, DC, and Chicago, the smart and witty, political parody, Political Idol 2020, written by Robert Yarnall and Marc Emory, directed by Michael Goldfried, with music direction by Anessa Marie will debut its newest 2020 edition on October 27. The new play, half-life, written and performed by Claire Autran, will have its premiere at The Clark Studio Theater in the Samuel B and David Rose Building at Lincoln Center.

'BRIDESMAIDS': A Dance Narrative will run as a one-night only event at 7:30pm February 11th, 2020, at Symphony Space. After a sold out run at Dixon Place, Bridesmaids: Concert Edition will feature live music, a seven-piece band, with original songs and arrangements by Lauren Pelaia.

'BRIDESMAIDS': A Dance Narrative finished it's sold out run this August at Dixon Place NYC. In February 2020, 'Bridesmaids' will return to a larger stage, iconic Peter Jay Sharp Theater at Symphony Space, February 11 as 'Bridesmaids: A Concert Edition'.

The Picher Project, a new musical, explores the rise, boom, destruction and fall of the abandoned mining town of Picher, Oklahoma. The town that once was the largest producer of lead and zinc in the world became the EPA's #1 Superfund site, deeming Picher the most toxic place in America. Town politics, involvement with the native Quapaw tribe, illness, natural disasters, and the earth literally falling apart under them, all led to Picher officially dissolving in 2013, making it a ghost town.

Lauren Pelaia is an actress, singer/songwriter and composer originally from New Jersey. As an actress, she has appeared in Productions such as Two Star Motel (NYC Premiere, Halley), Little Shop of Horrors (Algonquin Arts Theatre, Crystal) and Grease (New Jersey Repertory Theatre, Sandy).
