Celebrating the joy and chaos of raising a queer child, My Son's a Queer, (But what can you do?), over the past two years, has debuted to a critically acclaimed and sold out season at the Turbine Theatre, followed by another sell out run at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and, to the delight of fans, transferred to the Garrick Theatre in October and November this year.

Mark Goucher Productions has announced the full cast for The Great British Bake Off Musical for its transfer to London's West End, opening at the Noël Coward Theatre for a limited twelve-week run from 25 February to 13 May 2023.

As Rob Madge transfers their award-winning autobiographical show, My Son's a Queer (But What Can You Do?), to the West End, theatre music label Westway announces that it will release the original cast recording of the show through their Westway Original imprint on 21 October 2022.

My Son's A Queer, But What Can You Do? written by and performed by Rob Madge (Oliver!, Les Misérables) and directed by Luke Sheppard (& Juliet, In The Heights) celebrates the joy and chaos of raising a queer child, and due to record ticket sales, will now extend for a further two weeks, now running until Saturday 17 July at the Turbine Theatre.

Earlier this month, writer and director P Burton-Morgan's Metta Theatre, in conjunction with Perfect Pitch, released the studio cast EP of their hip hop musical In the Willows, adapted from Kenneth Grahame's classic The Wind in the Willows. Long devoted to new British musical theatre, Burton-Morgan explains more about keeping busy during the pandemic with this project, and others, in a guest blog.

Metta Theatre has announced the release of the studio album for hip hop musical IN THE WILLOWS, in collaboration with Perfect Pitch. IN THE WILLOWS has been produced remotely during October and November 2020, and is released via Spotify, iTunes and other digital media today, 1 February 2021, alongside a new music video for the number Head Above Water, choreographed and starring deaf dancer Chris Fonseca, who starred in the original production.

Following a pilot in December, Perfect Pitch and stream.theatre will be partnering to present Rise:Up, a monthly preview of a new British musical highlighting the newest UK writing talent.

Anna-Jane Casey's past work includes Chicago, Billy Elliot and Calendar Girls, alongside regular appearances in the BBC's Prom series. The West End transfer of Sue Townsend's THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE AGED 13¾ - THE MUSICAL is closing, after a successful run at The Ambassadors Theatre, on 28 September.

The phenomenon of Adrian Mole and his diaries has just rolled into the West End in musical form. It's a show full of 1980s vibes, with at its hear the core themes of growing up: lovelorn teens, acne, and stealing lunch money.
