Just last night, New York Stage and Film celebrated its annual Winter Gala, honoring six-time Tony Award-nominated producer and philanthropist Diana DiMenna, and Academy Award and four-time Golden Globe-nominated and Tony Award-winning actor and producer Tom Hulce. The Winter Gala, a fundraising event to support New York Stage and Film's year-round theater and film development initiatives, was held at The Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 West 54th Street, New York City).

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 23a?"February 2, 2020. Following a highly acclaimed UK and Ireland tour in 2019, the first new production in 25 years of Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey's iconic musical GREASE will tour the UK again in 2020, directed by Nikolai Foster and choreographed by Arlene Phillips. Dan Partridge (Rum Tum Tugger in the International Tour of Cats, Link in the UK Tour of Hairspray and Pepper in Mamma Mia! in the West End) will reprise the role of Danny Zuko, with further casting to be announced.

TV presenter and winner of Strictly Come Dancing, Ore Oduba, will play the role of Teen Angel at additional dates on the UK and Ireland tour of GREASE. Ore alternates the role with Peter Andre. As previously announced, Ore will play the role on 24 & 25 June and from 29 June to 16 July at Leeds Grand, the opening venue of the tour. In addition, Ore will perform at Birmingham Hippodrome on 19, 20 23 & 24 August and King's Theatre, Glasgow from 27 to 31 August.

Disney's The Little Mermaid Live-To-Concert Experience played at the Hollywood Bowl, on Friday, May 17th and Saturday, May 18.

A vocally-gifted, all-star cast accompanied by a gorgeous, live orchestra breathed added dimensions to Disney's animated Little Mermaid. The screening of this 30-year-old Disney classic received the IMMERSIVE LIVE-TO-FILM CONCERT EXPERIENCE treatment. Lea Michele as the titular Ariel NAILED her 'Part of Your World' with her soaring vocals and two ethereal blue gowns.
