YouTube Premium premieres the official trailer for its new original dating comedy series, SIDESWIPED, a multi-generational comedy about relationships - both romantic and familial. Accompanied by Nashville's Born Crooked; Hunter Wolfe (guitar, vocals) and Are Wolfe (drums), Kjersti, pronounced 'care-stee' will perform classic rock and original songs at the iconic club.

YouTube revealed the casting for the series SWIPE RIGHT, a multi-generational comedy about relationships - both romantic and familial. Based on a true story from Carly Craig, this eight-episode comedy series about dating and relationships in the digital age will debut on YouTube Red in 2018.SWIPE RIGHT, currently in production, stars Craig (American Housewife, Hall Pass) as “Olivia.” Leading the cast as series regulars are award-winning actress Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction, After Hours, The Whole Nine Yards, Desperately Seeking Susan) as “Mary” and Chelsea Frei (Hostess, Audition, Wolf) as “Jayne.”

Next week's episode of LAW AND ORDER: SVU is inspired by the case of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women.

Duncan Sheik the Grammy and Tony Award-winning artist made his Cafe Carlyle debut last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Sheik launched his career in 1996 with his Grammy nominated self-titled debut album. Sheik is the composer for the critically acclaimed musical Spring Awakening, which went on to win eight Tony Awards in 2007, including awards for Best Orchestrations and Best Original Score. The album earned Sheik a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.

The world premiere of Paul Rudnick's new play 'Big Night' opened Saturday, September 16 at 8 p.m. at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. Directed by Tony winner Walter Bobbie ('Chicago' and 'Bright Star'), 'Big Night' will continue through October 8, 2017. BroadwayWorld has an inside look at the opening night below!

'It's a warhorse and has been a guaranteed sellout since 1950, but that doesn't mean a production doesn't need a little spark. DJ [Salisbury] did exactly what I asked him to do,' says Maine State Music Theatre's Artistic Director Curt Dale Clark. 'I asked him not to reinvent the wheel, but to tweak the show with some new nuances.' Clark is talking about MSMT's new production of Guys and Dolls which opened last week to glowing reviews. Clark was part of the popular MSMT community series, PEEK BEHIND THE CURTAIN panel that also featured Guys and Dolls stars, James Beaman (Nathan Detroit), Kristen Hahn (Sarah Brown), and Stephen Mark Lukas (Sky Masterson), as well as Props Master Elizabeth Frino. Moderated by Broadway World's Maine editor Carla Maria Verdino-Sullwold, the participants at the capacity-crowd event discussed the making of this exciting new production in Midcoast Maine.
