Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced three nights of the Hamptons Comedy Festival, presented by Long Island Comedy Festival, bringing top comedians from across New York to the East End this spring and fall 2023.

The complete cast has been announced for the modern musical adaptation of The Song of Bernadette developmental workshop from Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominated Composer, Frank Wildhorn, CMA winner and Grammy nominated lyricist, Robin Lerner and award winning playwright, Rinne B Groff.  

Becoming Dr. Ruth, starring Tovah Feldshuh and written by Mark St. Germain, enjoyed a successful evening for its Off-Broadway opening night at Edmond J. Safra Hall at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York on Thursday, December 16.

The Young Vic will present Conundrum, the debut production from Crying in the Wilderness Productions as a Young Vic Associate Company. This evocative new drama, written and directed by Paul Anthony Morris, dives headlong into a powerful exploration of one man's trajectory of embracing then owning self-acceptance. Conundrum opens in January 2022, having been delayed due to the pandemic.

Theatre Three will present the return of the Long Island Comedy Festival, now in it's 15th year! Opening Weekend will feature TWO Super-Star Comic Line-Ups.  Friday, July 9, 2021 @ 8 pm

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that Richard Kind will host this year's 29th Annual Summer Gala, A Starry Night, which will be streamed online on baystreet.org and other live stream platforms on Wednesday, July 22, at 8 p.m., with a red carpet preshow beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The 14th annual Shubert Foundation/Music Theatre International Broadway Junior® Student Finale took place earlier today, May 14,  at Broadway's Imperial Theatre, hosted by James Harkness and Jawan M. Jackson, stars from Broadway's new hit, Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce that it won the Imagine Award as the leader in the Arts and Culture category of the 7th Annual Long Island Imagine Awards, held on April 30 at Crest Hollow Country Club. Emma Ruben, Bay Street Theater Development Manager, and Paul Anthony Mongelluzzo, Bay Street's Sales & Sponsorship Manager, accepted a check for $5,000 on behalf of Bay Street Theater.

Tony winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, The Cher Show, My Fair Lady, SpongeBob) will direct an invite-only, developmental reading of the new musical, The Song of Bernadette, March 14th & 15th, starring Dear Evan Hansen's Mallory Bechtel as Bernadette, alongside Tony Winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal, Side Show, American Psycho), Derek Klena (Carrie, Dogfight, Anastasia) and Drew Gehling (Waitress, Dave).
