Meeting at the intersection of improvisation and musical comedy is THE ONE FOUR FIVES, a comedy troupe that performs at The Improv Shop in St. Louis. THE ONE FOUR FIVES are made up of four women and three men who create two entirely original musicals at each performance. This performance of the fertility clinic musical was filled with plenty of poppycock, balderdash and hearty laughs for the bits that worked. Where THE ONE FOUR FIVES really showed their improvisational expertise was in their second act titled, “A Day in the Life.” After selecting a volunteer audience member, one of the troupe members interviewed the audience member about their day and allowed the other six on-stage comedians to ask clarifying questions. Based on the interview they created a 25-minute musical narrative.

Still Life, a one act play by Matthew Gasda, starring Sigrid Sutter and George Olesky will be presented at 97 Green St., Greenpoint, Brooklyn on Saturday, March 11th.

A young Elvis impersonator learns that change is not necessarily a drag and other valuable life lessons in this heart-warming comedy The Legend of Georgia McBride by Matthew Lopez.  The production runs from March 10 - April 2 at the Little Theatre of Virginia Beach.

Omnibus Theatre and Collide have announced the world première of Lisa Langseth's The Woman Who Turned Into a Tree. Emily Louizou directs Bathsheba Piepe in this new play - opening on 6 April, with previews from 4 April, and running until 22 April.

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) is kicking off their 30th anniversary season by changing the name of their bi-annual New Work Series to Spark Theatre Festival NYC. The company will also return to premiering new works Off-Broadway in Fall 2023.

Otherworld Theatre Company, the premier science fiction and fantasy production company in North America, has announced new additions and confirmed dates for the first half of their 2023 season, throughout which the theatre celebrates its tenth anniversary year.

A young lip syncer from California just had his dreams come true! Nathan, who went viral on Tiktok earlier this week for his backseat lip sync of Matilda, was just gifted a trip to New York City to see his first Broadway show. 'Delta Airlines is sending Nathan and the entire family to see his first Broadway musical in New York City!!!!!' tweeted his mom, Samantha.

Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein comes to Theatre Tallahassee in 2023. Performances will run March 9 – 26, 2023. The musical features a book by MEL BROOKS and THOMAS MEEHAN, with lyrics by Mel Brooks.

The Parsnip Ship announces a free in-person podcast recording of Sea Longing by Nina Ki. The event will be held Monday, December 19th 2022 at The Mark O'Donnell Theater in Downtown Brooklyn (160 Schermerhorn St.) at 8pm.

ABC and dick clark productions also recently announced Zimmerman as part of their star-studded lineup of performers for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023, airing Saturday, December 31st on ABC. 

Hudson Theatre Works has announced its holiday show for the whole family, “YES, VIRGINIA THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS” on Saturday and Sunday December 17 @7:30PM and December 18th @1:00PM.

Bailey Zimmerman continues to dominate the country music scene. His Platinum-certified hit “Fall In Love” topped the country radio charts as the fastest debut single to reach No. 1 at country radio since 2015. Co-written by Zimmerman alongside frequent collaborators Gavin Lucas and Austin Shawn.

theatrethreesixty will present the 12th anniversary staging of Nick Choo’s FOLLOW THE LIGHT just in time for the festive season of 2022. The returning musical presentation is scheduled for a limited 6-performance run from Thursday, 8th DECEMBER to Sunday, 11th DECEMBER 2022 at Nero Event Space, Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre (PJPAC).

This tale as old as time is filled with plenty of adventure, cheer and love that the whole family can enjoy. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST takes the stage at Jefferson Center (541 Luck Ave SW) December 2-4, 2022.
