The play, written by Tony-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl and directed by Anne Kauffman, marks Sarah's sixth production at Berkeley Rep. Previews begin on Thursday, December 12, 2019 and the show runs through Sunday, January 26, 2020. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Oscar nominee Martin McDonagh's play Hangmen has been eying a Broadway transfer, but the move is not to be, according to the New York Post. Michael Riedel reports that the play, playing through March 25 at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater, will not arrive on Broadway this spring because leading man Johnny Flynn and his wife are expecting a baby.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) announces a three-week extension of the sold-out US premiere of the Olivier Award-winning Royal Court Theatre production of Hangmen. The critically-acclaimed production will now play through Sunday, March 25th, 2018.
