54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club and 2022 Tony Awards® Honoree for Excellence in the Theatre, has announced special programming throughout the month of June. From Clint Holmes’ dazzling tribute to Peter Allen to the return engagement of Jenn Colella’s sold out show to Rebecca Clark’s uncanny Barbra Streisand concert, the PRIDE month events will celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

Abigail Deser directs the California premiere of The Thin Place by Obie Award-winning playwright Lucas Hnath, running March 18 through April 24 at Atwater Village Theatre.

Playwright Lucas Hnath was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Later his move to New York led him to study Pre-Med, but soon he changed his major to Dramatic Writing, where he studied at Tisch School for the Arts earning a BFA, and subsequently following an MFA. Hnath is the playwright of 10 Dramatic works. His Broadway Debut and most notably his best work A Doll's House Part 2, debuted on Broadway in April of 2017 and closed in September later that year. Commissioned by South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, Hnath's contemporary spin/sequel to the Ibsen classic starred Laurie Metcalf, Chris Cooper, Jayne Houdyshell, and Condola Rashad. Metcalf later went on to win a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her portrayal of Nora Helmer. Subsequently, Hnath's work was also a nominee for Best Play at the time.

The 'biggest little play festival in the world' continues with week 3 heats at the Tom Mann Theatre in Surry Hills Fri 7 to Sun October 9.

Theater Resources Unlimited presents the Writer-Producer Speed Date, a unique opportunity to pitch a project to a roomful of New York producers and artistic directors on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at the newly opened 797 Studios, 797 Eighth Avenue (betw. 48th and 49th), 3rd floor, NYC.

BRINE 5 is an exciting evening of dance featuring new and reimagined work from choreographers Rebecca Aneloski, Lauren Broadbent, Daniel Do/Mar Undag, and Trevor Wilde.  Producers Symmer Andrews, Ashley Creek, and Sara Pickett have been presenting work of rising dance artists for the past five years with BRINE and are thrilled to have the continued support of Repertory Dance Theatre through the Link Series.
