Led by a charismatic EMCEE, a group of brave storytellers shared their unique LGBTQIA+ stories, weaving a rich tapestry of emotions that sparked laughter and tears. The one-night-only event, “Queer to Tell: Austin Holiday Edition”, kicked off the holiday season with a powerful message—or rather six—of love, resilience, and acceptance.

Nick Eibler (The Prom, Fly) & Lavender Public, in association with On The Quays, have announced Queer To Tell: a Pride Month Storytelling Series this upcoming June. Queer To Tell is a storytelling series that takes place over three weeks during Pride Month at different LGBTQIA+ owned businesses. Each show will have a different theme inspired by the venue for the evening and host a variety of Queer-identifying storytellers. Tickets are $15.

On The Quays will present REEMERGENCE: LIVE, a night of music, dance, and drag inspired by their visual album, REEMERGENCE, at Chelsea Music Hall at 7pm EST on Monday, October 25th. This event is free to the public.

Rounding out the cast of How to Repair a Mechanical Heart is Ben Bogen (Frozen), Nick Eibler (The Prom), Tiffany Engen (Rock of Ages), Hillary Fisher, Alan H. Green (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Maria Habeeb, Trey Harrington, Mara Jill Herman, Pilar Martinez, Ben Roseberry (Lion King), Stephen Smith and Lily Talevski.

The 12th Jimmy Awards ceremony will be available to watch online on Thursday, July 15th at 7:30PM ET. Fans can watch right here at BroadwayWorld. Reemergence is a 5-chapter Queer experience that spans 5 different time periods through the artistic lens of 5 different directors -- Darren Lee (Pacific Overtures, Miss Saigon), Catriona Rubenis-Stevens (e.ro.sion), Nicola Murphy (Stop/Over), Zhailon Levingston (Tina, Broadway Advocacy Coalition), and Matt Engle (Much Ado About Nothing).

Debuting in May 2020, Seasons 1 (10 Episodes) and Season 2 (15 Episodes) are now available on YouTube, as well as Instagram @kikisclosetshow. Kiki's Closet features roundtable discussions with BIPOC artists, both onstage and behind the scenes.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the complete cast and creative team for its upcoming musical Fly, based on the J.M. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy, with book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Playhouse's Guards at the Taj, Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo); music by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Bill Sherman (music director for Sesame Street; orchestrator for In the Heights); lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) and Rajiv Joseph, direction by multiple Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), and co-choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Bandstand) and Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights). Fly will run February 18 - March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

Broadway in Bryant Park returns this summer for its 20th year! 106.7 LITE FM's popular series will bring the best of Broadway and Off-Broadway together for FREE performances, for six consecutive weeks, continuing this Thursday, August 1 to Thursday, August 15. New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple are invited to come at 11 a.m. every Thursday, beginning July 11 through August 15, with performances running from 12:30 p.m. EST - 1:30 p.m. EST on the Bryant Park Stage.
