Director Tom Kopp’s sharp and brisk direction keeps things moving on the small stage at the .Zack Theater. He smartly uses Brad Slavik’s static set design to ensure the limited space never seems overcrowded with four or five actors in a scene. His collaboration with his team of actors and technicians creates an effective palate for storytelling.

'All My Best Memories: Built by The Carpenters,' is not only a tribute to the best-selling brother-sister duo of the seventies, but it's also a tribute to fandom itself, performed by a dyed-in-the-wool fangirl - and Grammy-award nominee Judy Pancoast. Pancoast will be performing at The Green Room 42 on January 25th at 7 pm.
Sierra Stages' Production Of HAND TO GOD At The Nevada Theatre In Nevada City Extends

Sierra Stages has extended its production of the hilariously twisted black comedy "Hand to God" by Robert Askins for an additional weekend through March 23 at the historic Nevada Theatre in Nevada City. The remaining five performances are on Friday March 15 and Saturday March 16 at 8 PM; Thursday March 21 at 7 PM; and Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 at 8 PM.

You'd have to have been a hermit living in a cave the past few years not to be aware of the cultural impact of J. K. Rowling's seven best-selling Harry Potter books. Not to mention the eight blockbuster movies that they spawned. The last couple years may have seen the "Twilight" series overshadow them slightly, but Harry still has a huge following that's not going away any time soon. The Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre takes full advantage of this following by presenting the fun and funny STUPEFY! THE 90 MINUTE HARRY POTTER.
