Broadway Dreams kicks off Unplugged, the 2019 Summer Intensive Tour in Atlanta, GA, followed by five U.S. cities, Calgary, Canada and Europa Park in Rust, Germany. In each location, Broadway Dreams will present an incredible roster of top Broadway directors, performers, and industry insiders who will offer highly personalized musical theater training through week-long intensive workshops for students of all ages, skill levels, and socio-economic backgrounds. A star-studded lineup is set to join the worldly travels of Broadway Bares: Take Off, this year's wanderlust-inducing edition of spectacular striptease. The special evening on Sunday, June 16, 2019, with performances at 9:30 pm and midnight is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Join us on May 25th at 11:30PM at Feinstein's/ 54 BELOW for 54 Sings: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee - celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the show's creation. A hilarious evening of your favorite characters and tunes, it features a cast of Broadway actors at the Bee. Who knows... maybe YOU will end up in the spotlight!

Preston Max Allen's WE ARE THE TIGERS Off-Broadway run had music and lyrics that were fully realized and demanded to be recorded. Broadway Records answered that call and released WE ARE THE TIGERS (Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording), preserving the show's infectious, toe-tap inducing pop score. And, freed from the book scenes, this music comes across as more poignant and thought-provoking than it did in the context of the show.

Midnight Theatricals and S. Asher Gelman, producer of the original pop/rock musical and teen horror comedy We Are The Tigers, have announced that a cast album is in the works and will be released on April 26 through Broadway Records, the Grammy-winning record label dedicated to preserving musical theatre and theatre vocalists The album is available for pre-order at BroadwayRecords.com.

Michael Bello directs the pitch-black comedy about a dismally low-ranking team of cheerleaders trying to survive the night while being terrorized by a serial killer. Music supervision and arrangements are by Patrick Sulken.

A real curious thing is happening at Theater 80 St Marks. And, oddly, it may be the off-beat, quirky must-see Off-Broadway event of the winter. Not because the show is amazing, nor because it is so terrible that it has to be seen to be believed. Truthfully, Preston Max Allen's WE ARE THE TIGERS makes you forgive its missteps by being infectiously plucky and actually fun.

This will be the kickoff of the show's fourth season at The Duplex. The Broadway duo will be joined on the program by a distinguished group of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines.
